In the fashion manufacturing industry where I worked, seamstresses consistently keep their head down working as part of the assembly line. They handle every single piece of clothing without leaving any marks.

After watching a TED talk about using biocompatible material to print clothes at home, I feel that it might be an amazing technology in the future for addressing labor-intensive problems in fashion industry.
I perceive the 3D machine as somewhat akin to a plant, such as bamboo. The machine absorbs electric power and material, much like a bamboo absorbs oxygen and nutrients from the soil and grows fast. It can also grow according to the designer's wishes, saving significant amounts of labor, materials, and power by eliminating many craft processes. Then, the next question people has to consider is: what is the significance of craft art and its associated processes for human beings?
